Attorney

Chaz D. Lyons is an estate planning attorney dedicated to helping individuals and families protect what matters most. His practice focuses on wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance health care directives, and related planning designed to make the estate-planning process clear, approachable, and effective. Chaz strives to give clients practical guidance, thoughtful legal drafting, and peace of mind as they plan for the future.

Chaz studied at the University of Utah’s College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Bachelor of Science in Sociology, and a Certificate in Criminology and Corrections.

He later attended Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark Law School, where he was the recipient of the Edwin M. Thomas Merit Scholarship and earned his Juris Doctor.

Chaz remains actively engaged in the broader legal community by participating in legal conferences, professional events, and media opportunities throughout the country. Through these efforts, he contributes to ongoing conversations in estate planning and related areas while continuing to strengthen the knowledge and perspective he brings to his clients.

Paralegal

Terra Lyons

Terra Lyons is a paralegal with Utah Wills & Trusts and helps clients navigate the estate-planning process with care, organization, and attention to detail. She assists with scheduling, client communication, document preparation, and follow-up, helping ensure that each client has a clear and comfortable experience from start to finish.

Terra earned two Bachelor of Science degrees, including a degree in Family Studies and a degree in Consumer Studies. Her background in family and consumer-related fields gives her a practical understanding of the issues families face when making important decisions, and she brings that perspective to her work with clients every day.
